Beautiful shoes showcased by a site that delivers inspiration and guidance to brides everywhere
Rainbow Club have been designing, making and colouring handmade satin wedding shoes since the mid-1980s and are now firmly established as the UK's leading and most inspirational producers. Rainbow Club are a developing brand with rapid growth plans which are based on the successful redesign of a solid, flexible and scalable ecommerce platform and a memorable brand experience.
The site publicises the activity of Rainbow Club whilst promoting new offers and features through their blog, Facebook and Twitter, in the process it achieved a key objective to increase community engagement and integration with social media channels. We created manageable content systems which allow for customisation of most aspects of the site so Rainbow Club can closely monitor their content and orders. The site is also designed to improve footfall to the retailers listed on the site so it was key that content management was made convenient.
Since the site launched in January 2012, most of the key performance indicators are based on the end of the 12 month period. One of which was to generate ecommerce sales of £250k, based on the success of first eight months an average was calculated to predict that Gibe would beat this target quite by at least £50k. The average order value target was beaten by 60% (based on results taken from January to July).
