Delivering ecommerce success for luxury fragrance company
Floris is a longstanding, high-end fragrance company based on the exclusive Jermyn Street in central London and in 2011 Gibe was appointed to support the existing Magento site for the foreseeable future.
Our first assignment was to add French as a secondary language and migrate the website to a new hosting environment. After a successful transition, Gibe and Floris agreed a structured support program where Gibe offered analysis on the website's performance alongside the recommendation and implementation of enhancements.
Floris are a successful perfume brand associated with prestige and sophistication based on a scent that is recognisably traditional and timeless. Gibe worked with Floris to enhance the ecommerce website by fixing historical development issues resulting in a smoother experience for both the end user and admin users. Additionally we added a blog to the site to give the Floris marketing team and product developers a channel to share valuable industry insight and product news.
Website performance in 2012 has been excellent with KPIs up across the board. Visits have increased by 25% and unique visitors by 19% on the comparative period in 2011. Site turnover has jumped up 36% with orders increasing by 28%. There was a modest 2.3% increase in conversions and 6% increase in the average order value.
