NMA effectiveness awards finalist

We have been shortlisted as finalists in the retail category of the 2011 NMA effectiveness awards for our work with Quba & Co. These are the top awards for the digital industry and reward agencies that can demonstrate the success of the work they have carried out.

Gibe won the Quba & Co. account following a competitive 4 way pitch back in May 2010 and subsequently launched the new www.quba.com website in August 2010. Since the site launched we have seen turnover increase over 90%, the number of items purchased has risen 126% also average order value is up £2. In fact we’ve seen increases in all the key KPIs that we agreed for the site at the start of the project.

As part of the redesign project we worked closely with the incumbent offline designers to ensure that we created an online experience that reflected the tactile, nautical in-store experience. We also focused on key user journeys and making the purchase process as simple as possible to maximise sales opportunities.

One of the most notable successes has been the create your own tools. These are flash tools that integrate with the standard checkout and allow users to create and buy their own personalised jacket or bag with numbers and lettering of their choice. These tools have helped streamline the business processes behind the customisations and have helped Quba sell many more jackets and bags than was previously possible with the old paper based system.

Well done to all the team and roll on Thursday 23rd June when we get to find out if we're the winner!
